How do I remove coral glued onto rock

Is the coral on the frag plug glued to a rock, or the coral is glued directly on the rock? If the coral is on the frag plug, then reach in and grab it and twist gently, it will pop right off, the glue does not hold very strong.

If the coral is directly on the rock, then its case by case, we would need to see a picture.

Type of coral could change how or what you should do too.
