Issue with blue clove polyps

Hello all, i hope this reaches many. I currently am having issues with blue clove polpys all over my rock, back wall, and the sand bed. It has chocked out many zoas in my colony of zoas. I need ideas on what to do, i was planning on setting up another tank and “fast” cycling it with new sand, new rock for my fish and corals to go in temporarily. im planning on selling the cycled tank afterwards. and while all my fish and corals are safe in the holding tank, remove all rock and sand, scrape the back wall during 20 gallon weekly water changes in the main 65 display. Then, add new black live sand, put in new glued rock scape. Let those cycle for a month or two, and after thats done add all coral and fish back. Sorry if this is confusing im not the best at explaining.. is the plan good or should i tweak it? Thanks!

I would take out the rock the polyps are on and replace the rock. They are very hard to get rid of.

I remember hearing that some people use fenbendazole to take care of blue clove polyps.

Fenbendazole works but for me has only worked temporarily. Still fighting them after 3+ years. Starting over would seem like the only permanent fix.

If you want to go the fenbendazole route look for Pancur C. I've used it multiple times with decent results. Somewhere here on R2R is a thread with many people sharing their experience. Just be aware that while it's safe for most inhabitants there are some invertibrates that will not tolerate it well or at all.

In contrast, I had fenbendazole work resolutely. I dosed a little heavier and a little longer, but it decimated the BCP I had. Snails didnt like it, and I lost a handful of those. I just used dog panacur I found on Amazon.
