Just bought some new RFG's that I would like to put on the end of the existing Locline and don't have the special tool. Is there another way for me to separate the sections? I tried bending them with no luck.

Soak in warm (not hot) tap water then bend. Helps a ton. Outside of that, it does take some umff to get them apart.

They will pop off and on...sometimes you have to angle and twist/push if attaching or angle/twist pull if removing a section.

Just some brute strength application. Not a good idea if it already attached to the main inflow return to the tank though.
