So should I just caulk the crud out of my floors and baseboards lol? Trying to fish proof my used-to-be craft room for him to use as his new fish tank sump room! I just recently replaced the carpet with wood laminate, the most waterproof, flooring I could find, but now I'm wondering what's the best way to save my walls and baseboards with the water splashing, dripping, stuff like that! Water resistant paint with enamel? Thank you!!!Suggestions?

Back when I had a fish room, I painted everything(stand, walls, floors) on the inside of the room, With red guard waterproofing membrane. You can just apply it with a roller or brush it on. It was a great idea, had a few overflow accident and no water leak through the walls or got soak up in the sheetrock.

Silicone on the baseboards but just regular paint on your sheet rock should be fine as you need to keep your water in the tank at first.
