How do pom pom crabs molt......

Probably a stupid question but I was thinking about this yesterday after my Pom pom crab molted. I fished the molt out and it was amazingly intact, including the legs with the anemones.

So how does it molt without losing it's anemones?

Sometimes the do losing one or both when molting.

Mine has been lucky so far. Several molts and both anemones seem to be growing.
