For those with CB multibars, did your fish adjust well to the brighter lighting of a reef tank? I love this species but removed it from my list due to concerns about adjusting to a brightly lit environment.

Mine had no problem adjusting to 3 Kessil A160X over a 4' tank.

This is one thing I am worried about as well since my tank is SPS dominant and gets blasted with light (eg corner of my tank gets 220 par at the sandbed vs. other areas of sandbed get 300 par). I have a bunch of caves that provide shading and the max light blast is only for half the day.

I get a CB Multibar today so I will likely start a new thread to document how it goes. I am nervous.

My tank is LPS dominant. Here is the most recent PAR map, you can see the multibar on the left where it says 170.

Good luck with your multibar. I think you will be fine. Let us know how it goes!

You can also try Golden Pearls 500-800 micron size. Worked very well for me on a wild caught mulitbar. But took me 5 weeks of freshly hatched brine shrimp before eating pellets and mysis. Doesn't have an issue with bright lights. It's been with a pair of Mccullochi clownfish for over 3 years now. Pic is from when I just moved them to a new tank setup.
