So I've been searching the forum for a while today trying to gather PAR suggestions. Lots of good info (especially from @FarmerTy & @jda ). I have colonies of all of these except the SSC & Oregon tort they are frags. I'm going to be reworking my rock work & really try to place the corals to get the best color. Any input or suggestions on what I've found would be helpful.

What I have & what I think the PAR should be: (currently most are not in the right spots)

Vivid Confetti – 250-300
Fox Flame – 450
HW – 450
Solar Flare – 400+
Pearlberry - 400
Pinky the bear - 400
Diabolic pacman – 450+
WD – 500+
Vihn – 500+
Orange Passion - 400
Pink lemonade – 400+
Oregon Tort – 400+
Strawberry Shortcake – 250 - 300
PC Rainbow – 200-250

I've heard & read the same, I'm just looking for a good average.

I just measured my tank and most of my corals are in the 250-350, growing well but I've seen brighter colors in other peoples tanks. I'm going to move some around and slowly get the par up on most to the 400+ range & see how they do.

Looks mostly good. I’m no expert but for me personally, I’d move the solar flare and pearlberry down to 300 range and move the PC rainbow up to 400-500 range. List looks great.

Thx Ty! The pearlberry & SF were the 2 of the harder corals to nail down as far as PAR.

As for the PC Rainbow, I've heard higher PAR = more red, lower = more gold & yellow. Is that you experience?

Yes and no. Lower par did let me see some more green and yellow at the growing edges but putting it into 400+ par and it’s pretty epic with a whiter base, hot pink corallites and bright red with some green still in it.
