Hi,
We have our first ever reef aquarium. It has been up and running for a little over a couple months. We have 2 Picasso clown fish, 3 cardinal fish, 1 coral banded shrimp, 2 emerald crabs and a hand full of hermit crabs and snails. Last weekend we bought our first coral, a neon hair mushroom. How do we tell if it is doing ok or if it gets sick? I guess I'm only worried because in the area is well looking pale. Thanks for any help!

Congrats on starting a reef. It is basically an addiction haha, Anywho your hairy mushrooms will be relatively easy to notice if they are uhappy. 1 if they are always sunken in and not expanding something is wrong could be a parasite,to much light or something picking on it.2 they can actually dislodge itself from the rock it is on and end up somewhere else(happened to me) This could mean it was not happy with where it was placed or the reasons above. hope this helps a little
Happy reefin
