Hey all, how do you keep track?
Share the wealth, I can use it.

I’ll start, lately I been using only a white board, but it has been becoming harder to keep track of trends. The reason for this post.

There are several good apps. ReefTrace is one I think is gaining popularity.

I love aquarium notes. Free on android. Works great and keeps data in an easy to digest format.

I use an app called AquaticLog. It is free for the basic version and allows you to keep records or your parameters and a list of your tank inhabitants. I think there is a pay version that adds a few perks like keeping pictures for fish and coral. I like it well enough I'll eventually pay for the premium version to support the developer.

I use notes on my iPhone. I have one that has been running for almost two years now. Looks like this.

Thanks all!! I found this amazing excel sheet. But I think I'll give some of the suggested apps a try as well! Here is the link for the excel sheet I found, its free to download.

Wait we are supposed to test things? J/K
I don’t keep track of my parameters unless there is a problem then I just write it down. If all tests show good numbers I don’t keep track. I should but I’m not disciplined enough to do it

I have Aquarium Note. However, I only have it for recording animals and pictures right now. I would have to actually test to know parameters other than temp, pH or salinity.

Excel on my laptop that auto uploads a copy to my HA cloud on Azure.
I took tests every other day for over a year and now that everything has been stable for over 3 months, I only test in Thursday’s.

I just started cycling my first saltwater tank and I’ve been using Aquarimate on IOS. Seems to be pretty easy and lots of info.

I use the good ole excel spreadsheet and convert the data into graphs. Doing so shows me the trends of my weekly water testing.

I just make the corrections to what the tank is supposed to be and dont record anymore. If I keep track of anything its what I dose.

Nitrate is the only number I bother with keeping track of.
