I mistakenly bought a Neptune solenoid without reading the full description my original plan was to use this with my gravity fed ATO reservoir to shut down the top off water with a sensor in my sump when the water level gets too high to protect from accidental over fill but the solenoid is normally closed not open so this didn’t work out for me I can always just return this but i figured o ask others how they use this on their systems or Rodi looking for inspiration lol

I have 2 somewhere in a box. No idea how to use this. It is not good for saltwater use, so that's just crazy to me.
Yeah I read that I wish it was normally open I’m not even really sure how I would implement this for my Rodi

I have two that I use - currently re-plumbing my auto top-off and water change reservoirs.

I have optical sensors that change the solenoid state based on the level(s) in the holding tanks.

Each is on a different FMM and named appropriately, as are the optical sensors. It works great!! Once I finish running all the RO tubing I’ll be able to safely tell my wife the likelihood of another “whoopsie!” Is dramatically reduced.
