How does someone become a Reef Squad?

I want to know what makes a member earn such a prestigious title? To me, it's a sign that this member has credibility, experience, and very knowledgeable. I think it's so cool when members use the hashtag "reefsquad" when there is a thread with no responses because of a tricky situation. It's like calling the manager of the store.

When we start searching for a new member it usually takes a member who's been around for a while and has shown a level of excellence in one or more areas of the hobby. In addition Squad members are always helpful and welcoming, which helps to make R2R the best community around. We will certainly keep an eye on you and your posts and when the time comes you'll be considered.

Thank you. I did not mean to imply that I wanted to become a reef squad member! I am nowhere near that level of expertise! I was only curious to know the process because I wanted to learn about the community dynamics.

Please do not take this as a sign that I wanted to join. I would hate to subconsciously add pressure to a person.
