How does someone promote....

Themselves on the internet. I am wondering because I have started a twitter page for my tanks and only have 4 followers.

If it's Twitter and Facebook then you need to use hashtags. I believe they both tie in together. Make yourself searchable that way.

Try following people who have the same interests, they may follow back and you can build up your following- therefore "promoting" yourself.

Yea I used Instagram as a platform to post all my aquarium stuff (@GroverSenpai if you're curious) but have shifted here as I feel there are more people that will see my posts here
