I have a two headed Dragon soul torch that got BJD. I split the 2 heads since only 1 head was affected. I dipped the diseased head in a cipro/amoxicillin mixture, and it seem like the die off has stopped, but there's not much left on it. There's just a half ring of tentacles on the edge of the frag. These tentacles are still alive, but very retracted. I have it by itself in a tub of saltwater with a heater. Should I put it in the quarantine tank I set up for the recovering other half? Can it come back from this with so few tentacles remaining?

Ud b lucky if it survives. Once the polyp gets to that point Tuff to rebound. Also benefit of branching euphyllia is if u catch the problem u can frag and save the rest. It’s why wall hammers don’t do well because of pathogen or disease progression. Same w heliofungua

Without any part of the mouth it is almost impossible to keep alive.

If you do try I'd dip every night for at least 10 days.

See if the flesh starts to grow back.

Should I put it in a tank? Right now it's in a tub in my bathroom without a reef light. I'm worried the lack of light might be stressing it, but I don't want to put it back in with any other corals either.
