How fast did your toadstool grow?

Hey can someone show me there toadstool day 1 vs 6 months vs 1 year im wondering how fast they grow and what to expect

Mine one year in are double in size, and they were already big. So now I have one that's 8" diameter, and the other is 12-15".. The big ones base/stalk is probably 4" in diameter.

They can definitely grow fast.

6-7" a year ago.

I actually tried to sell it with the old 90gallon DT, but since have upgraded, so I have more room with the 170 DT.

What's really amazing is how small it gets sometimes at night.

This is that same massive toadstool, moonlight, right now (where the foxface was docked).

It shrivels up pretty tight.

Mine was about 3-4”, grew to maybe 8” in 6 months, 12” first year, probably 15-18” at 2 year mark.

This is and honestly my goals for my toadstool o May I ask? How do I know if it’s getting to much flow

It starts floating around the tank like a helicopter :o

They really can take some fairly aggressive flow. Medium+... Most issues I've seen here are from too little flow.

It has good flow. Not enough to rock it. Just lay the polyps wave.

My parameters just dropped a little. When I get back home I have to dose magnesium. It’s usually around 1350. Dkh is usually around 8-10. But everything is really healthy.

The middle has a huge sinularia finger leather. It was moved slightly and torn off a rock recently, so is healing, but when that thing inflates its bigger than the large toadstool.
