How fast did your toadstool grow?

They can grow pretty fast. They can also self-frag, if the conditions are right and you give them enough time.

November 2020:

The circled coral, right in the middle, is what it looked like when I first put it in the tank 5 years ago. Maybe 2-3" across.

September 2025:

And that's what it's become in five years. The big coral in the mid-top is the original, and is currently about 10" across. There are two others just as big as it (possibly bigger), plus about 6 others that are about 6" across, plus about 10 more that are still little nubs, some of which you can't see because they're blocked by other toadstools. All of them came from the original.

I'm don't have any progressive pics but these are mine.

Mine love flow. The one on the left was getting blasted with an MP40 to the point it started tearing so I moved it. The large one is still getting hit with a lot of flow. I blow mine off every morning while the polyps are retracted to get any loose skin off and they seem to appreciate it.
NO4 20-30 PO4 0.4 - 1.0 alk 8.2 salinty 1.025.
I've had these for several years.

This one has only been in a few months. Its my first with long tentacles.

Bro do you mind me asking what your Po4 is

This small system gets tested once a month. Last 2 months were po4 and no3 were both zero.
I feed the 2 fish quite heavy and have never seen above .02 po4.

They can be. Honestly, I feel like they're a perfect beginner coral. Great growth, but not invasive. Self-fragging, but relatively easy to remove. Tolerant of a wide variety of conditions - the original is blasted under 450 PAR and pummeled by return pumps, a XF08 gyre on one side, a Sicce Xstream on another. Others are sheltered by rocks and carry on just fine at 200 PAR (and I'm sure people have kept them in even lower). They hold their own in cnidarian warfare - one of them literally had a BTA on its stalk for a few days before the BTA decided to move on. And they can look really dramatic, especially once they start folding.
