How fast does your bubble coral grow?

Just wondering. My wife got one, but it's only about 3 inches across. It looks cool, and I hope it grows quickly.

Not sure id call it fragging but I bought a large piece about a foot wide that had developed into three crescent shaped colonies from 1 mother colony and was able to cut them between the ridges and all are happy and doing well

What did you cut them with? Did you dip them afterwards?
 
I used a chisel and hammer. And no I didn't dip them. Had them in my tank for about a month before I decided to split them
