Let's just say with the turbulent flow and the lack of contact time, I'm not sold on this design.
 
Looks like a miniature washing machine...prolly not the stellar skimmer we're all searching for... :)

edit: When you go to the link for the product manufacturer aqua-connect and look at the inventory of skimmers.
All they have listed are Bubble-Kings. Odd.
