My mantis molted and its burrow isn't completely sealed up, so I unplugged the lights to reduce stress and simulate its in a fully closed burrow.
My only concern doing this is how the corals fair, little bit of every thing but SPS.
It's day 5 lights out right now, dragging it out as long as I can. She's doing great I can see bits of the molt, but not quite ready to 'emerge' yet which normally they'd be in pitch black for and otherwise could stress and kill it.
