How long can keep shipped coral in bags

I have been running home from work to receive coral shipments (UPS and Fedex) and acclimate new arrivals during lunch time.
I have received occasional softies at work and waited until evening to acclimate without problem.
I am wondering what people think of the same with LPS. Receive shipment at work so box will be indoors, but wait until that evening to acclimate.
Is that too long for stony coral to stay in shipping bag?

Depends on a lot of factors, outside temp being a big one, if a reasonable temp I would say as soon as reasonably possible after work, they don’t have the waste issue fish have so you can go that bit longer with them.

+1 to what @Reef. said above. I've had a shipment that was supposed to be overnight get stuck in transit an extra 24 hours with no issues. The shipper was meticulous in packaging tho and the weather was fairly mild.

you also wanna make sure theres enough oxygen for the corals
