In a mature tank? Mine settle in within 24 hours. Haven't lost a favia yet. Fast growers and pack a potent sting. I place mine on their own rock islands.

Did you acclimate them to your lights ? Or just placed them in ?

I just place almost all of my stuff right in. I've found that running Radions on the AB+ schedule is what many of the sellers use, so I just put them on my frag rack at the bottom of the tank for a few days and observe before placing them permanently somewhere.

Same for me. Feel like they don’t really need much of an acclimation. Since I put them on the bottom of my tank for their permanent spots, by default they get acclimated to the lights. Only hassle I find is gluing them in place. Since they are in the bottom, have yo do it with long tweezers which is a pain. Also have them all together in their own garden so they don’t sting anything else.
