How long until you notice KH consumption?

As the title states, after putting in coral, how long does it take for you to notice consumption of elements? I know corals won’t begin to grow until the acclimate so curious what your average time is and the type of coral you typical introduce. For example, I added about 4 sps frags, 3 torches, 2 hammers, a couple of zoas. Took about 2 weeks since introduction and consumption is starting to pickup quickly and have to up my dosing over the last week to maintain parameters. Increased my AFR dosing from 18 mL to 30 mL in about a week and will need to most likely up this as consumption continues to increase.

Took me about a year to notice consumption outpacing the water changes I was doing.

I’m sticking to dosing AFR right now. Water is so expensive in Portland Or it’s almost not worth it. My nitrates and phosphates are in check and noticing large absorbition. I considered running an auto water change but again, water is sooooo expensive here.
