How many AI Primes for LPS Dominant 20G?

Hello! So I have a UNS 60U Macro Algae and Photosynthetic Gorg tank, im in the middle of a redesign with the tank and im thinking of switching out the lighting for an AI Prime or 2 add a couple LPS, mainly Hammers and Gonis, and was wondering how many AI Primes I would need? The dimensions of the 60U are 23.6 x 14.2 x 14.2.

They a supposed to be sufficient for a 24”x24” area how deep I’m not sure but likely you could get away with one.that being said two would be a lot better coverage.

you'd get way too much spill over if you raised it high enough to cover the full 24" of length.

agreed, I reworded it after thinking about that.

yeah i ran one 16HD over a 10g for a while, it really needed two due to the narrow width, i got shading on both ends to keep spill over to a minimal.
