How are the Mirage lights holding up?
Holding up isnt even a question, what has happened is increasing growth and color! I literally have had to triple my dosing levels i went from 55ml to 170ml and still setting at a lowered alk now. At the install i was stable at 8.7dkh. Now im down to 7.7dkh, trying to slowly get back above 8dkh.
Still staying at 50% max per channel as trying to bump up to 55% ticked off a couple sps and i had a bit of bleaching.

Good to hear... I am more concerned about the long term performance of the lights. I have been running similar lights for the last couple years. I noticed that the LED started dimming and now some are going out. I'm sure they are pushing more amps through the diodes to get more PAR causing a decrease in life expectancy. Was wondering if LED Zeal was doing the same thing.

I am looking to purchase 6 the the X200. The blue series looks a little too blue for me :)

My previous light setup was 4 x t5, and a 5ft led. That led is the previous light from ledzeal. They discontinued it when they made the mirage. That light is a malibu s400, i gave it to a buddy who is using it over his frag tank.
That light never had a dimming issue, but did burn the clear shield where the uv are. Those uv were around the 380nm though. On that light the wifi controller is seperate, connected via wire to the light. It fell into my sump 2 times, and after drying it out still works.
The ledzeal brand flys under the radar, unfortunately due to a lack of advertising. That being said they are built like a tank, even the power brick is water resistant ip rated. I started with 6 black box lights over my 180g. The s400/t5 was a major upgrade over them. The mirage with blue layout is a huge upgrade over the malibu/t5.

Where do I finding pricing info on the X300 (36") lights?
Email [email protected]
Hes the sales rep. They are not a retail sales setup company. They are a manufacturer who sells ti individuals, but many of the products they produced are sold to companies who resell. Lets say they build black box lights, sell them in bulk to evergrow ect who resell to individuals.
So they dont have pricing on the website, (website sucks balls). When you email them, even through the website, they get your info and lights you want. They email you back with light prices, shipping, PayPal fees ect all broken down to the penny so you know exactly where the money is going. I like that.
Website is ledzeal.com
If you want to order through there, in the upper left corner theres a box with names like kevin and ada me, click on 1 of them. As a heads up expect email responses to be late at night or early in the am since they are in hong kong. 12hrs difference in time zones for me. Fastes way to get your order is use the [email protected] email address. Be sure you tell them you want the superblue layout.

Just starting with a build, would the x3000 super blues have enough par and coverage for a standard 75 gal for sps. Don't want to snooze and loose

Absolutely, the x300 blue will. As i stated i removed an led/ 4x t5 setup when i installed these. Growth and color has jumped leaps and bounds.

Ok. Here is my recommendation. Either 3 x200, or x300 running front to back. The x200 will do it, but i like overkill. On my 8x30x2 im installing 6 x200 this way. On my 8x3x2 im installing 6 x300 in this fashion. Both are going to be full sps with rock structure top structures mostly at 12-15inches off the bottom for the peaks but a lot of it will be around 6-8 inches. I want the bases low giving plenty of room For them to grow into full colonies. Stocking will be mid to highend corals.

How high do you keep the lights off the water? I am having a hard time deciding If I should use 60 degree lenses on the outside (450nm) diodes. I have decided on 90 degree diodes on all the rest.

Also, I found that the X200 equivalent to G5 Blue on the LED Zeal website was not quite right, so I made my own configuration. For the G5 Blue equivalent I used Amber instead of Photo Red diodes. If you want to make it exactly like G5 Blue just use Photo Red (660nm).

I also made a configuration that matches the G5 Pro. My G5 pro equivalent has a couple turquoise LEDs. If you want it to be exactly the same as the G5 Pro, replace the turquoise with 65K diodes.

My tank is 6' by 3' by 27" tall. I will also be using 6 X200s. 3 Pro configured and 3 Blue configured. How long did it take to receive your lights?

Id definitely not do 90, or 60 degree lenses. I used 120 degree lenses. My layout has no reds at all so i dont know what layout your confusing as mine is. My lights are 13inches above the water. Running at a max ouput of 59% per channel.
I BASED my layout on the g5 blue and hydra hd. I have zero disco ball effect, and a nice light shimmer.
Your results will absolutely be different then mine with your planned selection of lenses and colors. So be prepared for that.
Here is my layout.

Here is the g5

Here is the hydra hd.

I hope you spent as much time researching this and have as much success with your layout as i am with mine. Study the results of narow lenses vs the 120 also.

Id just get 4 x200 or x300 blue. At 50% ive got complete coverage an my 6x2x2 with 3 x200. Ran long way. If you turn them to run front to back you will be set and need less lights so half the expense. That money can be spent on coral!

Interesting.. The config I sent matches the g5 Pro and G5 Blue almost exactly.. (except for the changes I mentioned)

I was considering doing 120 degree but after after looking at the spread and loss of light.. even at only 12" off the tank, I wouldn't go more then 90 degrees. Take a look at the link below.. it shows you how much spread you will get from different lenses at different heights. sadly, it doesn't show light loss due to refraction off of water.

Have to many coral.. :) and like a lot of light! Would prefer to have too much light and turn them down rather than not enough.
