When I had my 55 gallon setup I only had probably roughly 20 corals in there that I absolutely loved and I let them grow out into mature colonies.

I have a 54 gallon. Here’s my list and I’m out of room. I tried taking notes as to when things were purchased and what was spent. It’s hard to keep track.
I know I’ve missed a few. And also got rid of a few.
Now I get to transfer everything to the 210 when it’s finally set up and matured a bit. I will say it’s amazing what you can fit into a small tank.

It took me a little over 2 years to acquire what I have. I just slowly added here and there. The only bad part is when you run out of real-estate.. Some of the fun is taken out at that point. It's like 'well, now I'm out of room'. "What do I do now".
Buy a bigger tank!!!! That was my answer!!:D I've had a few Saltwater tank over the last 20 years or so, but this was my first
"real reef tank". All previous tanks were more of a FOWLR with very few corals. I took my time on this tank and really did my research on corals and such. I've always been fascinated with corals and liked to read about them, but never really dove in deep. As you can see on the list above, there are no acropora. I didn't want to have to stress about absolute perfectly stable water parameters and baby the tank. Although, my params are pretty dang stable.. My stocking list also needed to fit my lifestyle. So LPS and Softies are what I keep and I LOVE THEM!!! Much more forgiving than some of the harder to keep sticks! And I'm also a sucker for movement!! haha.

Acros actually aren't that hard to keep as they say. I have had one since my tank was only three weeks old and it is one of my best looking corals here 9 months later. A miyagi tort. Maybe I am lucky or maybe I am just gifted LOL.

Yeah I have been buying little rubble rocks and diligently building more and more coral space haha.

We probably have 200 different varieties. As for number of corals, I dont think I can count them

Always go with gifted!!!!;) But, I like being lucky also!!
Maybe I’ll give some of the easier Acros a try in the new set up! Maybe a green slimer or red planet.
