Unfortunately it is impossible to say. Depends on a lot of variables (filtration, rock layout, species of fish, size of fish, compatibility between species, etc.) You are better off posting a list of what you want to keep and you will get recommendations based off of that. 34 gallons isn't a lot of room for a marine tank but there are a lot of smaller fish options.
34g is like 25g with rocks. So maybe 5 or 6 small fish depending on filtration and rock scape.

You have a nice foundation to work with and I will stay with my view that 5 or 6 small colorful fish will work well.
