How many Lefty's out there?

So I'm arguing with a Friend of female persuasion about the difficulty's & dangers of being a Lefty.
I am at least, one of 10% of everybody else ! I'm tired of being looked at with suspicion , Even a pair of scissors to writing left to right is right minded ! Lefty's unite ! Let's hear from You !

Lefty here. I learned to write almost vertically. I turn the paper at almost 90 angle and write uphill!

That is exactly what ended up being the most comfortable way for him to write. Never realized how much of a struggle it was for lefties.

Other than that other chores aren't a problem .
Had a issue at work about my writing , wanted me to resolve it , told them to try and write on a left handed desk .
At 60 that wasn't going to happen , they got over it .

It's funny when people slide something across a table for me to sign as an example. I immediately turn the paper and sometimes they try to turn it back thinking I'm giving it back to them without signing or something.

I've been remodeling my brewery recently and am reminded how difficult it can be to use some tools. Everything is right justified when it comes to control placements... Drills, electric saws, etc... Seems trivial to right handed people I'm sure.

When I was a kid in grade school, they tried to teach me write with my right. It didn't work ! I'm tellin Ya It's a hard life out there ! Glad to see other Lefty's swimmin in theAquarium of Life !

Allow me to ask, which side of the glass do You start when cleaning? I start at the right & go left. Everybody else starts at left? I don't get it ?:rolleyes:

I start at the left and go right. I use a spray bottle and a squeegee for water spots, for that I go right to left.

Both of my parents are left handed. Me and my two younger sisters are right handed. Learned how to tie our shoes, write... just about everything was taught to me by a lefty, and I still do everything right handed. Props to Pops! That must have been hard.

Lefty here. Learned to do almost everything with both hand except write. I should have been a doctor. Oh well.

Lefty here. Word processors are my friend. Now, take me to the shooting range and I'll outshoot most anybody out there with my left or right hand. That's not to brag (much), but I love getting in my groove and relaxing at the range with a good buddy. Honestly, I'd like to become an NRA instructor some day, but I'm focusing on my bachelor's and CPA first.

Ambidextrous from a young age, but I was told when I was being taught penmanship, to pick a hand, I was confusing the teacher. I picked my left. Can do 99% of things with both hands, but I have to eat with my left.
