How many Lefty's out there?

Older lefty here. Can remember elementary school teachers trying to ‘force’ me to write with my right hand. Most frustrating issue for me now: Having to convert new spinning reels.

Lefty here. I learned to write almost vertically. I turn the paper at almost 90 angle and write uphill!

I did the same! But, I eventually learned to turn the paper to an almost "normal" angle.

Ambidextrous, but I prefer my left for most things. Sometimes I get confused as to which hand I want use. But maybe that's just old age.

I think I was born left and forced right,.
I've always kicked a ball left footed, I'm left eye dominant, and I had an accident that tore my right biceps off years ago and quickly adapted to left.
Now I'm somewhat ambidextrous.

Funny thing is I found 2 half siblings later in life, both left handed.

Facts about left handed people. This is straight from my Surgeons mouth , Not researched by me

1. Left handed people when having a stroke usually do not have the same signs, Such as right side of the body issues, They also have less chance of being paralyzed,
2. Our brain apparently is laid out differently and some areas are more active others not so much (so this assumes a biological difference .
3. Its been proven (SO THEY CLIAM) More Creative ,mechanical and scientific minds are in the head of left handed people..
4. I Know this for a FACT.. Left handed people can not use there right hand better then right handed people can use there left . For me anyway. But as the OP Post suggest some things are harder for us as for instance many tools are designed for Right handed people with no Alternative.. (again this is my opinion .

There are others but i forget most...

But working with someone right handed in some project has a great advantage in some of my work..

I play right handed guitar and use a computer mouse and keyboard for gaming as a right hander would but for the most part my right hand is only good for holding a beer.

I'm a lefty and a 10 year scientist. Way to just be a statistic.... [emoji12].

I cut with scissors with my right way better than my left but I chalk that up to the MAN and not getting me lefty scissors.

So basically, I glue with my left and cut frags with my right. Guess that makes me more efficient if doing things at the same time.

Lefty. Learned right-handedness for some things like golf, because that was what was around. Also guitar. BTW, Latin for left handed is SINISTER.
