Currently have 15 freshwater running, 2-75, 1-55, 1-50, 3-40b, 1-29, 3-20L, 3-20t, 1-10 and currently building my 75 sw with a diy 40b sump. Pre COVID I had 3. Had to convert my basement family room to a fish room, complete with tank racks. I also have empty 65, 40, 29, 2-20s and some 10s. Water change day is a full day. Just a slight problem. My wife wants me to call the number to “have you lost your mind”

I started with two tanks right off the bat... never even had a freshwater tank to start with.

60g corner tank and 32 Biocube. Cycled them both at the same time lol.

Dang you got me beat. I received a free tank for my buddy with failing seams which has turned into buying a full 120 gallon 5 year established reef tank in 3 months

At one time, I had 7 tanks:
125 mixed reef
29 biocube mixed reef
125 planted FW community tank
55 planted FW rainbow tank
93 cube SA cichlid tank
53 tall African cichlid tank
20 tall FW planted community tank

So far, I've taken down:
the 93 (it's now in standby as my OH S*** tank)
the 53 (my daughter HAD to have it)
the biocube (it just wasn't fun anymore)
and I'll be taking down the 55 this week. (I have other plans for that spot)
While it may seem that I'm a recovering MTS victim, I'll always keep the two 125's and the 20. I'm also still working on the plan for a 150 gallon FOWLRish tank.

I see some people saying 2 tanks is mts go look on a freshwater forum or YouTube channel some people have 20+ tanks. I have 4 and I'm about to buy another

20gallon long planted tank
10 gallon danio tank about to be turned into cherry shrimp breeding tank
75 gallon work in progress coldwater river/stream tank for the danios
and soon I will be buying a watebox 20 cube or IM 25 lagoon
and I still want to set up some breeding tanks

Edit: there was a laughing emoji in the beginning of the post

First the 65. Now another is a 240 gal.

I have self-diagnosed as having MTS, but my LFS people insist there is nothing wrong with me (or my bank account, credit card, stimulus checks, etc.)

A 20L, turned into a 44 corner, turned into a 125. Then there was a Black Friday sale, so that meant a 40 AIO and a 24 AIO. Then someone popped up on the local reef society page with a 180 w/stand & sump for a ridiculously low price, and when we got there to pick it up he also gave us a 40B and 3 20L's. Then our only unoccupied wall looked empty, so a RedSea 350 fit perfectly.........

I don't have a problem. I swear.
