Small tank, major aiptasia problem.

The horror...

Think one would do it? Or two? I have a sump ready for them when they finish or they can wait for the clown prison upgrade.

Is there a wrasse in here? I know you have one in the other tank. If no wrasse then go for berghia. Much safer and more efficient. Peppermints are known to harass and pick at lps (reaching in mouth to steal undigested food from coral stomach) and it’s 50/50 if peppermints will actually eat aiptasia

Peppermints can be pretty hit or miss.

With such a small tank and few rocks, I would try to get a berghia

You're in my group buy! They're out of berghia at the moment
:rolling-on-the-floor-laughing:

But I picked up 5 peps. I'll send out the group Socali message with the pick-up/payment protocol in a bit--or maybe in the AM, as I'm getting super sleepy!

No LPS in this tank, and no wrasses, just the clowns. This tank was reset just because the clowns were bullying my fairy wrasse. It has only macros, softies and an RBTA that won't stop splitting. The peppermints can eat whatever they want!

All that said, this tank is surprisingly successful. I do literally almost nothing. Every couple of months I swap out a little bag of carbon. No filtration at all in the back except for a UV bulb. When the macro gets overgrown and dinos start showing up, I trim. Otherwise, autofeeder for the clowns and throw in a few more pinches of Thera+ pellets every day. The aiptasia is out of hand, so I suppose I could put in some elbow grease... Or... Or... maybe a peppermint or two would do it :) Berghia would be nice, but maybe on my next ReefCleaners order.

I didn’t even notice the user name when I commented. :face-with-tears-of-joy: Very pretty tank. Always love the look of daylight heavy nanos with red macros. But thank you for the update! Waiting patiently for that harlequin shrimp as I saw a few more Asterinas chomping on Zoas

I'm crossing fingers and toes that UPS doesn't royally screw us like they did last time. A surprising amount of CUC made it alive in the Feb group buy after getting held up in Kansas or Kentucky for a day. But the Zanzibar coral banded shrimp I ordered didn't make it. We have two blue coral bandeds, an arrow crab and a Harley in this order, along with peppermints, pithos, emeralds, and the usual hermits and snails.
