I have 3
1. Main return
2. Separate Manifold
3. Deltec skimmer

4) which is sometimes a power head in my Refugium area ( which I should just have the manifold do this. Idea for my next project )

50 gallon:
  • Eheim Return
  • Eheim for skimmer
  • Eheim for manifold to reactors (carbon, bio pellets, rowaphos as needed)
(tightly packed sump so went with low maintenance A/C pumps that don't need frequent cleaning, use GHL flow monitoring to determine if need cleaning)

Already purchased for 200 gallon being set up:
  • Abyzz for return manifold, including chiller and UV
  • Abyzz for manifold, including skimmer, reactors (carbon, bio pellets, rowaphos as needed), general flow/detritus suspension in refugium and sump
