I'm going to purchase some used retail display tanks that are 4' acrylic with 4 12×18 divided sections. There is a return on one end and a drain on the other.

I will have a holding tank underneath full of live rock. Do I want a high turnover or should I slow it down to allow time to filter? It will be heavily stocked with baby clowns.

Well since you wouldn’t want to pin the babies to the side of the glass I would say getting a vector s2 ecotech DC pump would allow you to tweak the flow or a similar Smaller DC pump

HOW MUCH DOES A FISH’S FEEDING REQUIREMENTS AFFECT YOUR STOCKING DECISIONS?
