I have a 150 g aquarium that is about 18 months old. I just restocked after a few issues and I want to make sure I feed enough to sustain the fish and avoid food related aggression. I have the following fish…

Fox face 3-4”
Powder Brown Tang 3-4”
Yellow tang 2”
Tomini tang 2”
Clownfish pair
Diamond goby

Is 2 cubes per day of spirulina brine/mysis shrimp plus nori too much?

Thanks!

Feed your reef fish only what they can consume in about 1-2 minutes to avoid overfeeding and water pollution. It's generally recommended to provide small portions multiple times a day rather than one large feeding.
Just watch your fish and you will learn to judge how much eventually......the ole copy paste answer

Thanks, I understand the first part (1-2 minutes). What is “multiple”? These are all new fish except for the foxface so I want to make sure they build up reserves and I want to minimize aggression from competition for limited food. Especially between the tangs. Thanks.

Some people will feed once a day others 2-3 times

I am feeding 3-4 times per day and I always have two nori clips in the tank. I do have a roller mat and strong skimmer so hopefully that will remove enough nutrients. And then the tangs need to start picking at algae! I know feeding may keep them from picking at the rocks as much but I don't want to risk a disease outbreak from lack of feeding.
