How Much Led Light? DIY

I'm looking to make my own DIY LED lighting as part of a larger hood build that I'm doing. My tank is 18 inches deep (minus an inch or two for sandbed). I want enough like to grow soft corals and maybe even some LPS. I'm probably going to stay away from SPS for the time being.

How much light would I need for that? If you can, the approximate wattage or lumens necessary would be helpful.

I've read it. But it doesn't give a recommendation in wattage or lumens. It only gives the MH equivalent.

Wattage is only relevant for the blue spectrum, the rest ( white, red , green etc) are only for reflective colors.
