I change out 5 gallons every Saturday on my 55g. Maybe it's because I'm a newbie but I actually enjoy and look forward to doing it. Also I use Imagitarium Ocean Water, which I have scheduled for repeat delivery from Petco every couple weeks. Of course it's considerably more expensive than mixing my own or buying at my LFS, but extremely convenient and I believe it to be better than artificial mixes, so IMO it's worth the higher cost. If I had a large tank requiring a lot more water I probably couldn't go that route.

I use the same water with repeat delivery, for the same exact reasons lol

Unless I have a problem, I usually change 20-25% once every 6 months when I vacuum half of the sand bed. I do dose major, minor and trace elements routinely and do ICP testing about 3 months after each water change to make sure everything stays on track.

It’s all over the place but I’m on a 15% a month schedule currently but will probably extend it to every couple of months depending on how things are testing and how corals are growing.

On my Fluval Evo 13.5 I change 2 gallons about every 4 weeks. I top off every day.

On the 75 gallons I’ll be setting up soon, I was planning on changing 2-5 gallons per week. I’ll have to see how it goes.

AWC across all 3 of my systems and have never seen my tank water so clean, clear and corals happier than ever. Small quantities of water changed every day.

Hi! I do 10% once a week every Saturday religiously.
If I change it religiously I use Holy Water. But normally I change about 40 gallons in my 125 maybe 4 times a year. :)

The 46g gets 15g every 3-4 weeks. 28g is fresh so I’ve been doing 5g every week. I suspect as the 28 matures I’ll move it to every 2 weeks.

Approximately 10% weekly. I try to get it done on Friday evening, so I have the weekend to enjoy the tank without maintenance, but sometimes, I am just too drained from the workweek!

I have a 90 Red Sea with a 30 gallon sump. Do 20 to 25 % every week, 2 at the most. Just getting tired of the maintenance lately. Water Changes / New filter socks every couple of days / Cleaning skimmer every couple of days / Cleaning out my Algae Skimmer, its just getting to me. Any suggestions?

I change out a little over 1% per day on a 175g system via dos. Corals and fish are happy :)
