I do not recommended mixing Metro with any foods UNLESS you have confirmed internal issues as Metro has to be applied precisely by weight at .5gm and also makes food taste biter to the fish.

it’s been confirmed. been doing a 1:1 ratio with focus and also mixing food with garlic guard as well. i just didn’t know if mixing it in with every meal was over kill or was it just supposed to be once a day

Yes overkill, focus is a binder and not necessary as it was always regarded as a treatment combo back in the day and garlic is an immunity booster. I rarely use it but rather sparingly

1:1 with Focus is ONLY the dose for the binder. The variable is the percentage of metronidazole in the food total, and that needs to be 1% by weight, so you'll need a gram scale. Then, the dose is one feed per day for three days for most routine internal protozoan issues.

Freshwater filter only or is it? Have you ever used an HOB filter on a saltwater tank?
