how often will a ricordea mushroom split

How often will my ricordea mushroom Florida split?

mine splits, then takes a break before splitting again. But the split is a slow process. I get a new one about every 2 months. But I don't feed them, I don't know if feeding them will make them reproduce faster.

I guess you can also slice it up if you wanted more of them faster, I've never tried it but there are threads on the forum if you are inclined.
