32 Been a carp angler 22 years and dad break Koi from when I was around 8 so always been around fish had a tropical tank for a while and changed to marine 2 months ago :)

My first saltwater tank was in '79 with fish only. In the early '90s when we lived in Key West I started with softies. In '96 I started with sps.

Turned the big 3-0 last month and I am brand new to the salt crew. Been in the fresh crew for the past 5 years roughly (small like 5 and 2.5g tanks lol). My first saltwater tank is 30g. Currently in the stage of setting it up before the first cycle.

Hey, youngster...got my lighting and the tank is looking good...my problem is taking a good picture of it, but this dilapidated 72 year old will figure it out (with the help of his 57 year old wife...:p

I've had a tank since about "68 (lasts century)...mostly planted tanks with discus and angels and schools of little fish ala Amato...had a reef 15 years ago but had no idea what I was doing...also a fish only which was nice until my panther grouper ate everyone up...

Yes we are Salty Dog, been in the freshwater since my dad had fish. Then got away from it for 25 years, then went to freshwater for 10! Years and am now going salt
