Ahh ha, got you all beat, 70 years and 8 months.
Reaching my 70th BD, I realize that I cannot help but grow old. However, I refuse to grow up!!! My wife would tell you, "He may be 70 but, He's going on 17". Life is wonderful with a woman like that.
Been in the hobby 62 years. The last 42 exclusively SW. I'm a retired Pipefitter from Madison, WI. Moved to FL (warm baby) 3 years ago to set up a coral/fish aquaculture business. Here's a pic of the building my wife and I are building for that purpose. The 3" PVC pipe coming out of the concrete at the left far end are the supply and return of a 525' geothermal loop 3 1/2' below the concrete slab. Laid by this retired old pipefitter.
That's my filly, Sue, at the other end. She's 60 years young. I can tell you that because she never gets on the forums. Here's a pic of me...
Jubilant because I just put in the last of 3,540 bolts in the arches (actual count).
So you young dudes and gals complaining of feeling old at whatever age have a long way to go in life. You'd better start acting, living and loving young. I've still got spring in my dance step, lovin on my mind and youth in my heart.
Oh, buy the way...
Sorry for the long rant but, I wanted you to know what can be done by an "old fart" if you stay young at heart.

hey uh, phil.... when u made this poll... why did u choose the bracket "0-18"??? there is not one reefer in this world who is ZERO. unless of course they had a reef tank in their previous life or something... not suggesting there are such things as previous lives or anything. it would be kind of cool to remember a previous life (if there were such things) so the same mistakes dont happen or something. hopefully in my future life i will be rich enough to own every single LE coral, and add a few nice fish. my dream would be a 120 gallon tank with 1 gem tang and a pair of snowflake clowns. and perhaps a cleaner shrimp. the rest would be all LE corals, or unique corals. of course, i would have to also go find myself a red fungia plate as those are my favorite coral of all time. followed by the LE/unique chalices.

OK 44 this year. We are the beat there will ever be we are the class of 83. I was out of high school and married before a lot of you were born. I agree with some earlier post that a lot of brain cells went out the window in the 80`s. one thing I will say to some comments that have been made about sex...YOU DONT EVEN KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOIN TILL YOUR 30`S.
