Hello, I have one clownfish right now in my fluval evo 13.5. I originally started with 2 but lost one before they ever really bonded. The remaining clownfish has been solitary for the past 6 months or so now. I believe it is a female. I want to get a small male to pair with it but i am worried that it will become a female during quarantine and before i can introduce it to the tank with my other clown. Is this a legitimate concern or will it be ok to qt for a month or so and still be able to pair with my other clown?
Thank you!

Yes it would be fine just make sure it’s significantly smaller.
