How to add an Apex I/o port?

I was just setting up my rodi storage container with an Avast barrel tender. I purchased the version with Apex controller integration.

My storage container is too far away from the Apex to plug into the I/o port on the base unit.

I cannot seem to find a module that just adds an I/o port so I am looking for the least expensive module with an I/o port - the other ports will be unused. I see the PM1 comes with the I/o port. What are my other options?

PM1, PM2, PM3, and ASM modules have the I/O port. There's no module with only the I/O port.

You might want to look into making an extension cable with the DIN connector so it can reach the base unit.
