About a year ago I switched from a ATI 6 bulb T5 fixture to a Kessil Ap700. Everything is doing fine but my growth is very slow now. I want to add the T5's back to the tank, along with the LED. How do you recommend I add the T5 back without causing light shock to my coral. I'm guessing just add an hour or so of the T5 and slowly work my way up. Suggestions greatly appreciated.

I've noticed the growth has picked up with my kessil. The first three to six months were agony watching things just sit. Now I've got zoa's growing off of plugs and my acanthastrea have started regrowing tissue lost from infection and burning.

If you're adding the t5 as a supplement, you probably don't need more than 4 hours a day to gain the health benefit. I'd be interested to know what your tank depth and intensity settings are currently.

The dimensions of the tank are L 36.5 x W 18.5 x H 21. The Kessil is 7 inches from the top of the tank. My max intensity is 40%. You would think that if I raised the intensity on the Kessil it would help. Anything higher and my LPS start to suffer. Here is a picture of my settings, but my max in now 40%. If you can recommend different settings, I would like to try them before adding back the T5's
