How to bring up my phosphates and nitrates? Do I have too many bio balls?

I have added a few more fish and feed more (been a month now and no change). I dose All For Reef and use Red Sea Coral Pro. KH is at 9, calcium is at 440. It is a 45 gal AIO with a skimmer, a decent amount of physical filtration, and a crap ton of bio balls. Could I possibly having too many bio balls be an issue?

In the photos I linked are the bio balls. Plus one small bag that is in my basket that is not shown. The bag is chalk full and one if my back chambers is atleast 3/4 full with bigger bio balls. The lights are almost off so the display portion is kinda dark in the photo.

Bio balls are fine. Do less water changes and feed more. Not exaggerating, but I probably have six or seven times that amount of bio balls in the smaller tank in my nitrates and phosphates are through the roof even with media I’m using to remove it.

What sort (brand) of bioballs?

I would proceed with caution anytime you are altering your biological filtration. Less water changes and a bit more feeding will get nitrates up, and a bit of reefroids will keep Phosphates measurable.
