How to fix broken bottom aquarium brace

Hello everyone has anyone had experience replacing the bottom base or bottom trim or bottom brace. I’m not sure what the technical name is. It’s on a large aquarium and can it be done. I was going to fabricate one out of aluminum. It’s cracked right down the middle on both sides and needs the be fixed. If anyone has done it before or has pictures of the process of doing it could you please share some info. Thanks
