I have all mine in medium light & low flow as possible which in my tank is the front bottom corners. I think torches seem to welcome a little extra flow but hammers definitely get upset if you blast them. I think they also appreciate the same alk stability that is vital for sps, although they can be more tolerant.
Also check the cut on skeleton & look for tissue recession at the base of the polyp. I had my first aussie gold torch melt which was a bad cut for sure. The 2nd one, from tcr, has done great & now has 2 totally separate heads.
