So I purchased the multi test kit foundation pro Redsea and I tested alkalinity and just tested magnesium. If I am reading this my levels are way way low. Can somebody assist with this and tell me if I'm reading correct or wrong. Thanks. It says titrant used .80 1600ppm so does that mean if I used only .2 and there is .8 left in the 1ml syrine that's my reading or is it other way around? If I used .8 and I have only .2 left in the syringe that's my levels? I have about .16ml left in my syringe when it turned from the pink to the blue so I'm guessing my levels are below 760 correct because it says titrant used .38 760 ppm? Help please lol

Ok thanks for clearing that up for me. Didn't know how to read that. So I need to lower my mag and my alkalinity.

The Red Sea magnesium kit seems more prone to issues than most magnesium kits, which in general are not, IMO, very reliable.

There's no scenario aside from an overdose, where magnesium is higher than your starting salt mix, so I would not look to try to lower it. Personally, I'd ignore it.
