I need to temporarily remove the adapter that goes between my faucet diverter and the faucet itself. Of course I’m going to put it back when I’m done.

I can’t grip it even with pliers. I’m going to try a pipe wrench but I don’t want to damage the adapter. Any ideas are appreciated. Thank you.

Channel locks if you have some, use a towel, just need to crack loose.
hold on to arm of faucet firm .

You only want to grip it with enough force to hold it while you turn. Once you get it off, a good cleaning with clr on the threads will help it loosen up in the future
Thank you I’ll try that. Thank you also @fishguy242. I appreciate the help. I’ll let you know how it goes.
