Hello,

So I have some GSP that is slowly spreading in my tank on a NSA Rock Aquascape that I cannot remove from the tank. I am wondering what options I have to remove it without causing a nutrient spike in the tank, or causing it to start growing elsewhere. Any help / suggestions is appreciated.

Thanks!

I used a small flathead screwdriver and an exacto knife. I was careful to catch any of the small pieces that broke away. I saved a tiny bit and restarted it on a frag rock. It is a particularly florescent green GSP. Now it's under control. I still, months later, have the occasional individual polyp of GSP pop out where it was removed from my scape that I cover with gorilla glue gel. The process did stress out the reef for a bit though. I replaced my carbon and all was well
