How to remove this algae?

Tank is new so still going through the ugly stage on and off. I have some cuc but the turbo snail can’t seem to get to a lot of the crevices on the rock. It’s like brown string algae, I’ve tried using a turkey baster and a toothbrush but it’s still hard to get it off the rocks.

very hard to tell from the pics but if you’re in the ugly stage it could be diatoms.

what are your params?

I can see the "strings" of the algae. If you can post a pic in white light it will help to identify it, but sounds like dino's.

I’m getting some copepods tomorrow which I hope will help but how else should I try remove them?
