How to remove white fuzz + turf algae?

Hi guys. I’m noticing a big increase on green turf algae on my rocks. And then now on top of the algae, there’s like a white cotton fuzz like thing growing all over the rocks. What can I do to clean up my rockscape and get the algae and fuzz off? I’ve heard hydrogen peroxide but that doesn’t seem to work for me unless I remove the rock out of the water and then squirt peroxide over it. Really want to get rid of this look. Any reccomendations?

Phosphates just dropped to 0. Nitrates at 15. I’ve been dosing a small amount of phosphate everyday to try and balance out. I just added a 5” clam I’m wondering if that stripped my phos

Are you carbon dosing or adding coral foods? I see a potential bacterial bloom in the pics.
Clam wouldn’t strip phosphate that quick.

It’s been about a week with the clam. And I don’t have a sump so I just dropped some ROX Carbon in the return chamber

Your first move should be raising phosphate to detectable levels. Are you adding any coral food? Vodka, vinegar etc..

I stopped adding coral food (reef roids) because it was raising my nitrates as well. Which I have trouble keeping low

What are you currently using to raise phosphate? And how much are you dosing daily in ppm for you tank volume

I’m dosing phos feed from tropic Marin. 1ml per day for 65g tank. Expected to get 0.05

Phos feed seems not to be soluble in the water, you need something that adds phosphate to the water instantly like neophos.

Ahhh ok I’ll give that a shot. Will order it now. Is that something you can dose less of since it’s instant results?

I’m still struggling to find that balance point between feeding and filtration to maintain stable nutrient levels. I think I change too much at a time and have too many variables so it’s hard to keep track of what helps and what doesn’t. I gotta slow it down lol

Yes, I’d still target 0.05 depending on the test you using to verify phosphate

Well I think I’d like to keep it between 10-20 but I noticed if I don’t keep it in check, it gets out of control fast like up to 50. And I’d like to keep SPS eventually

Some of the most beautiful tanks I've seen are running their No3 25 or greater.
How old is your system? How many gallons? What's your stocking?

Just trying to think of ways to help stabalize.

6 months old. Flake auto fed in the morning. About a pinch worth. And 2 spirulina mysis cubes in the evening

So still pretty young... You should also be feeding a lot more. Are we talking like a pinch of salt? Or a pinch of Copenhagen? That's a pretty good sized bio-load, and not knowing how much the auto-feeder feeds, I'm going to say it's not enough. I feed more than that and I only have 3 fish lol. Try and see what heavy feeding is going to do. You should start seeing your No3 raising after 3-4 days of that.

EDIT: You could also start dosing No3. Look into NeoNitro if raising your No3 "naturally" doesn't work.
