I purchased a pre-owned Red Sea ReefDose and I’m trying to get it into pairing mode so I can connect it to the ReefBeat app.

So far I’ve tried:• Holding the button on the back• Holding the manual dosing buttons on the front• Holding buttons while powering the unit on

No matter what I try, the pumps either just spin or nothing happens. I’m never getting the blinking light that indicates pairing mode.

I’m assuming the unit is still connected to the previous owner’s Wi-Fi and I have no way of deleting that connection.

Has anyone run into this before or know how to force a factory reset / pairing mode on a ReefDose?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Press and hold the Wi-Fi/settings button on the unit for 15 seconds until the LED flashes twice, then power cycle the unit by unplugging the DC. This is how it works on my Reefdose 4

Remember to hook up to WiFi you have to hook up in 2.4ghz
